I own Dakota Physical Therapy PC with my wife, April. I was born in Bismarck, ND and graduated with my Master's in Physical Therapy in 2003. After working for a few years and having two children, we decided to purchase Dakota Physical Therapy PC in 2007.
We have been hard at it ever since, working to build our practice and provide the best quality physical therapy in the Bismarck/Mandan area. I can be found on Tuesdays and Thursdays at our Mandan location and in Steele on Wednesdays.
My specialties are in outpatient rehabilitation, running evaluations, nutrition, and supplementation. My goal is to help patients prevent disease, decrease chances of surgery, and get them back to their desired level of function. I love mountain biking, splitboarding, and surfing behind the boat with my family!
After graduating from the University of Mary in 2008 with my Doctorate in Physical Therapy, I began working for our company, Dakota Physical Therapy PC. I now run the Touchmark clinic in Bismarck. I specialize in outpatient, geriatric, balance, and aquatic therapy.
I focus on restoring correct posture and movement in order to decrease pain and improve mobility. I currently live in Mandan, ND with my husband, Chad, and our two children. In my spare time, I enjoy teaching a variety of exercise classes, snowboarding, wakesurfing, and mountain biking with my family.
I am originally from the Bismarck area and attended the University of North Dakota where I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2005. Following graduation, I started working at Dakota Physical Therapy PC.
I work mainly at the Mandan location and enjoy treating a variety of injuries including cervical pain, lumbar pain, arthritis conditions, and any sports injury. Outside of work, I enjoy all hunting and fishing activities and spending time with my wife and two daughters.
Hi there! I’m Monica Lang, a physical therapist here at Dakota Physical Therapy PC. I grew up right here in Bismarck, ND, and I did my undergrad and graduate work at the University of Mary. I received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2011.
I began working at Dakota Physical Therapy PC right after graduation. I spend most of my time out at our Steele clinic, though you can find me at Touchmark most Tuesdays and Thursdays. I enjoy treating patients who have a variety of orthopedic concerns, from foot to neck pain and everything in between. I love to see patients on land or in the pool.
I also am certified to perform functional dry needling. When I’m not busy at work, you can find me out at our farm in Sterling, ND with my two kids and husband. Our spare time is spent playing at the farm with our dogs, hunting, baking, or spending time with family.
I graduated from the University of Mary with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy, Bachelors in Exercise Science and Minor in Wellness. I am also a Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist. My special interests are outpatient orthopedics, neurodynamic mobilizations, and vestibular therapies. My goal is to help patients reach their desired level of function and prevent future injuries. Outside the clinic, I race stock cars, race BMX, ride mountain bike, and complete obstacle course training with my dog!
I graduated from the University of Mary with my Doctorate of Physical Therapy and Bachelors in Athletic Training, as well as Minor in Wellness and Psychology. I began working at Dakota Physical Therapy-Touchmark right after graduation as I am very passionate about the geriatric population. I am currently certified in LSV Big (functional rehabilitation for patients with Parkinson's Disease). I utilize a holistic approach to physical therapy as I don't only treat the injury, however, the goal is to treat the whole individual to ensure they're able to participate in their favorite activities and live their best lives. When I'm not in the clinic, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, as well as reading.
I grew up in Bismarck and received my Doctorate in Physical Therapy in 2017 from the University of Mary. I work at the Touchmark location for Dakota Physical Therapy. I have experience with all age groups and various diagnoses. I spend a lot of time in the pool with patients and work a lot with balance, weakness, and chronic pain. When I am not at work, my favorite thing is to spend time with my 2 daughters. We enjoy camping, being outside, and painting.
I began working in 2019 with Dakota Physical Therapy with an administrative and billing background in dental, as well as medical transcription for inpatient and outpatient services of varied specialties.
My office is in the Mandan location, however, I am responsible for management and billing services for all three of our locations.
When I'm not in the office, you will likely find me on the sidelines of a soccer game or cross-country race cheering on my kiddos.
In my spare time, I enjoy volunteering with our soccer club and church, hiking, kayaking, yoga/pilates, snuggling with our dogs and grandkids, gardening, and crocheting.
